Attorney Jim Davis is third generation lawyer: His father and grandfather were also attorneys. Since 1984, he developed a broad base of experience and knowledge in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury and been actively involved in the criminal defense bar. A former president of the Mississippi Public Defender's Association, he is currently on the board of directors. Since 1985, he has provided indigent defense services for individuals in Harrison and Stone Counties, and he was a public defender for Harrison County for over two decades. In the course of his distinguished career, he has represented thousands of clients and taken at least a hundred cases to verdict in both state and federal court. Jim has appealed cases up to the Mississippi Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeal for the 5 th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Attorney Ian Brendel is the newest attorney to join our firm. He practices in both personal injury and criminal law and appears before the state courts of Mississippi and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. He attended law school in Alabama and has focused his practice on civil and criminal litigation since graduation.
